A giant concrete step was taken, to begin with, towards skill development of poor women living in the rural areas of the district Jhajjar of Haryana when a major project of training of around 5000 poor women was launched in April 2018. It was decided to organise training in four sessions of 3-months each enrolling around 1250 women in each session. The program has been going on in full steam imparting training in the vocational skill of Cutting, Sewing and embroidery to rural women regularly at as many as 36 Training Centers. The training centers have been established in 36 government schools located in as many villages of the district Jhajhar. The Trainees have been enrolled in the centers established in their own respective villages, thereby eliminating the need for commuting to the Training Centre.More . . .
